1. My cousin's original wedding venue closed their doors and stole her money two months before her wedding date, leaving her to scramble for a new venue and catering company. Her wedding planner Maurice Gerardi from Omega Design Events was able to find a venue in Bécancour Auberge Godefroy. With little money left believe me when I tell you Maurice looked everywhere and you really can't beat their prices for the quality and quantity of food. They have per person packages that include all flatware, glass cups, linen, cloth napkins and more. I chose the skirt steak, chicken parm, brussell sprouts, pesto pasta, raviolli , brushetta, cheese and meat platter and salads and honestly everything i ate was good and what I didn't try was said to be good by my guests. The workers were kind, professional and they were ready to go at our agreed time. I believe the package was about $150 a person and it included iced tea, lemonade, ice water, hot tea, coffee and yummy cannolis. When paying she saw a 20 percent gratuity fee that Maurice hadn't mentioned prior in addition to the tax, but I get it. Just glad that the service turned out great. It's annoying when you pay a big gratuity and the service sucks.
2. La propreté de la chambre était exceptionnelle. C’est rare de nos jours de n’avoir rien à redire du ménage, sauf WOW ! Le site extérieur est vraiment enchanteur et invitant. La nourriture est délicieuse. On se dit donc, à la prochaine !
3. Nous avons célébré notre mariage à l’Auberge Godefroy et nous ne pouvions pas rêver d’une meilleure expérience! Le jour du mariage, toute l’équipe nous a traités aux petits soins. Le souci du détail était remarquable. La nourriture était excellente, le lieu magnifique et le service impeccable. Notre suite était parfaite : propre, magnifique et spacieuse. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe de l’Auberge Godefroy d’avoir contribué à rendre notre mariage aussi mémorable. Nous recommandons l’endroit sans hésitation! ❤️
4. C’est notre deuxième séjour ici! Cette année, c’était encore mieux! La cour a bien été aménagée. Beaucoup de parasol, plus de gazebo pour des espaces 100% à l’ombre et des sièges suspendu pour se détendre. Le terrain est toujours bien entretenu ainsi que l’ensemble de l’auberge. Notre chambre était spacieuse, grande et confortable! Ça vaut la peine de prendre le forfait avec le déjeuner, car le buffet est vraiment bon! Finalement, tout le personnel est fantastique, souriant et toujours disponible pour aider. L’endroit est parfait pour les golfeur, coureur et cycliste. Nous avons accès à de très beaux endroits tout près. Je reviens l’an prochain, c’est certain!
5. Room.did not have enough lamps so the room was very dark after night fall. No lamp on the desk...
6. Outstanding experience! This place is a diamond in the rough - indoor/outdoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sports gym, pub, fine dining, spa ! All went out of their way to seat us and feed us! We enjoyed everything the Seafood Platter with lobster tail had to offer! Delicious food, friendly staff, wonderful drinks. Loved our dinner and ambiance on a one night layover. We were very pleased! Would definitely recommend this Auberge. Great choice!! Definitely coming back!
