1. Very nice venue with two levels. Great for large events. Staff were nice and efficient and the food was pretty good.

4. I went there for the Whisky Global event. Amazing place to hold that type of event. Beautiful!

6. The salon is absolutely stunning! The old church architecture creates such a unique and serene atmosphere and intricate details. A blend of the classic aesthetic with modern salon amenities is perfection.
7. Booking this venue for our wedding was the best decision we ever made. We’ve seen weddings at many locations in Montreal and surrounding areas including la Maison Principale, the Ritz, Sugar Shacks and others. We took a gamble by booking the Salon as we had never seen a wedding there, but that was a bit of the appeal. We wanted something special and unique. In order of priority for us, here are our highlights. Where to begin with the food! Be it the cocktail period, the main dish or the dessert table, everything was phenomenal. Quality AND quantity were amazing (and I have Egyptian parents who won’t shy away from complaining about food)! We never had a fish option at a wedding with so much richness that it held itself against the filet mignon in terms of quality and flavour (we served the Miso Cod). On top of all that, we had many guests with severe allergies and they all came to tell us how this was one of the first weddings where they didn’t get an allergic reaction proving the quality and organization of their kitchen. Talking about organization, Danielle (the venue’s owner) and Emilie (the included wedding planner) were both amazing at giving us the guidance we needed to make our day perfect specifically for us. Danielle was mostly there in the big picture planning and Emilie on the week/day of. Because the day of the wedding is so important, Emilie was the highlight. No need for another wedding planner, she’s the real deal. Organizing the timing of the ceremony (which we did on site), moving things along, coordinating with the vendors, remembering little details, fixing bumps in the road and going out of her way to get someone to pick up our midnight meal from McDonalds, she did it all with the utmost skill! We couldn’t tell her thank you enough! Last point to highlight, which initially wasn’t so important, but was highlighted by so many of our guest was the lights and sound in the hall. The lighting changed throughout the night and was always beautifully adjusted to set the right mood. The stereo system was never too loud to make you feel uncomfortable, but was heard all across the room. The speeches were so crisp that recordings of it on iPhones were perfectly understood (something rarely seen). Our DJ hooked up to their system and the rest was easy. I could go on, but really I’m not including negative points as my wife and I couldn’t think of any! This was truly a magical day made extra special by the amount of quality work that The Salon Richmond team put into it. Thank you to everyone!!
